Fresh pair of eyes on the wire protocols breaking-change path between v0.8.19 and v0.8.20. The schema_version negotiation is documented in RFC 010 but I want to confirm a v0.8.19 client cant silently corrupt against a v0.8.20 server.

Looking for:
Rust folks who have shipped a binary wire protocol (gRPC, tarpc, capnp, or hand-rolled). Bonus if you have debugged a version-mismatch incident in prod.
